Last year I decided I needed to make more films, and here is one of those projects come to life. It's the official music video for Au Palais' new single Blue Lights. It's directed by Robyn Vickers, who was ably supported by a brilliant styling and post-production team. I hope you enjoy it.
ps. The video premiered on The Fader.
Note: This is a shameless self-promotion. My team at Ogilvy & Mather London made this for Philips Headphones.
REMIX CAROLYN is an audio experience best tried with your headphones on. It's built around the new Swiss Lips single and you remix the track and create your own music video by driving a car through power ups and obstacles, and by choosing your route to one of 4 surprising and twisted endings. Every play creates a unique mix that you can share to a leaderboard. The most views get the biggest prizes, and playing a few times improves your skills and hopefully always gives you a few surprises.
Watch the trailer, and then maybe try it out for yourself.
Larry Mannequin from Last Night's Party creates a narrative that is surprisingly compelling. It's so self aware, hilarious, sexy, conceited, fashion hating/loving and directed that it's a pleasure to watch. It's witty and crass and completely unreasonable.

This American Life has a brilliant show about where all our stuff comes from. It starts with the question, "who makes Apple products?" It's a tough look at the people who make the things we use every day and makes the point that EVERYTHING we use is hand made. Because people are cheap and infinite in some places, but thankfully even that changes with time.
